The Domaine Pain de Sucre is situated near Capestang in Languedoc, on the edge of the Canal du Midi. Built in the 18th century by Bailly de Suffren, Knight of the Order of Malta, this area owes its name to a battle near the Sugar Loaf of Guadeloupe.
The Domaine Pain de Sucre, a 30-hectare vineyard in one piece, was taken over in 2001 by Françoise Bousquet. Coming from a family of winegrowers since 1855, she continues the tradition, driven by love for the land and passion for wine.
The domaine produces great Languedoc wines regularly cited by the Guide Hachette des vins as well as the guide Gilbert et Gaillard.
